George Delgado, M.D. is a board-certified family physician.  He received his medical degree from the University of California, Davis and completed his family medicine residency at Santa Monica/UCLA Medical Center.  Dr. Delgado is also an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at UC Davis.His beautiful wife Liz and he have four wonderful children, Sofia, Vincent, Paul and Victoria, ages nine to fifteen. 

 

Deacon Ken Finn, Spiritual Director
Deacon Ken has been married for 46 years with three children and 11 grandchildren. He was ordained a Deacon in the Roman Catholic Church on June 17, 1978. He was a prison chaplain for approximately twelve years. He was spiritual director for the Novices of Mother Teresa's order the Missionaries of Charity and also for the lay Missionaries of Charity. He and his wife Marie co-authored the Bread of Life Catholic Bible Study and Secrets of a Happy Family. Although retired they continue to put on Life in the Spirit Seminars and Marriage Seminars. He is presently Spiritual Director for COLFS. He and his wife Marie are founders of St. Dismas Guild, a ministry to prisons and to the family. Deacon Ken is also the founder of Benedictus, a ministry to Catholic men. His favorite scripture is Matthew 25:31-46, "...what you do to the least of my brethren, you do unto me."

Director of Creighton Model Fertility Care and Napro Technology.
Pat has been a Registered Nurse for 41 years and received her degree from Mount St. Mary’s College in Los Angeles. She specialized in Oncology Nursing for 30 years before becoming an NFP specialist. She has taught the Billings Ovulation Method for 16 years and has been providing the Creighton Model Fertility Care System for the last 10 years.

Pat received her certification from the Pope Paul the VI Institute and Creighton University (www.popepaulvi.com) and has completed both their Practitioner and Educator Programs.  In 1997 she became a certified NFP practitioner and in 2003 she finished her certification as a primary educator of Natural Family Planning from American Academy of Fertility Care Professionals. (www.aafcp.org).
Currently, Pat is the only Registered Nurse NFP practitioner of this status in the entire state of California.  Pat provides the Creighton Model Fertility Care services and Natural Family Planning for couples trying to achieve or postpone pregnancy. Pat is available for consultations in Escondido or down town San Diego Tuesdays and Wednesdays (pat@colfs.org).

Stephen Psomas, Director of Operations and IT
Stephen graduated from California Polytechnic University with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. After working for General Dynamics for 12 years he started a web site design company. In December 2003 he joined Culture of Life Family Services as Director of Operations and IT manager (info@colfs.org).
